bitlocker bug

Bitlocker bug

Looks like a bitlocker bug. I am encountering this the second time I boot my machine with bitlocker enabled. I have the key in the USB because I don't have TPM.I have encrypted my file system and generated the key and the recovery password. bitlocker works fine the first time I use the USB key during boot. It doesn't work the second time onwards. This is what happens:- 1) It will come to a screen asking to insert the USB. 2) I insert the USB stick. 3) press enter, it will take to the recovery screen where I will have to type in the recovery password to contnue the boot. It just gets locked.

After step '2', follow the instructions to press "ESC" to reboot the computer so that the USB thumb drive is recognized by the BIOS.
Sadly the early boot environment is not plug & play, so the reboot is required for the BIOS to recognize the USB device.
I will pass this on to the UI Guru's in the group to see if this text can be improved. - Jamie Hunter [MS]

I think I tried doing "esc" also and it would always say "invalid system disk". I will try again and see if there is something different I see.
Thanks,
